This is what we do

  • JaS - youth social work at schools - is a separate youth welfare institution within the school system.

  • JaS offers children, adolescents, young adults and their families help and support in dealing with individual problems.

  • JaS promotes and supports young people in their personal development.

  • JaS cooperates with other social institutions and public institutions, works in and with networks and takes into account the entire social environment of young people.

  • JaS’s offer is voluntary, confidential and free of charge.

For students

JaS is for you if you…

  • You have problems at home or at school that you can no longer handle on your own.

  • You are in a personal crisis.

  • have learning difficulties or exam anxiety.

  • Questions about financial aid, addiction, contraception, pregnancy, debt, etc.

  • Need support in dealing with authorities and forms.

  • Don't know what to do next in school or career.

  • Need support with applications.

  • You are having difficulties at your training company.

  • Just want to talk to someone.

For guardians

JaS is for you if you…

  • Worrying about your child.

  • Would like advice.

  • Observe problems at home, at school or in the social environment.

For teachers

JaS is for you if you…

  • Observe unusual behavior in a student.

  • Identify problems in your class.
